On Tuesday 28th October on a bright sunny morning we met for our AGM at the

Little Ship Club, which was founded in 1926 by a group of Yachtsmen for the

purpose of providing training and lectures during the winter months. The Riverside

Clubhouse is at Bell Wharf on the River Thames and is the only one in the City of

London.

Tea and coffee were available on arrival at 1045 am and the meeting started 11 am

. Twenty four members were present at the meeting  and some of the Masters

joined us making 34 for the drinks reception. There was plenty to talk about and to

catch up with  friends we hadn’t seen over the summer. We then enjoyed a three

course lunch, which was well presented and served with red and white wine and

plenty of water! The food was delicious served on hot plates and the staff were very

attentive and well organised. Everyone seemed to enjoy a productive and convivial

day judging by the amount of chatter in the room. We left the Little Ship Club in the

late afternoon sunshine to wend our way homewards!
