Gemini Consorts Association was formed in June 2019 following the Ironbridge weekend where friendships developed by consorts of the City of London Livery Companies, and similar organisations, who held office during the Mayoralty of Alderman Sir Peter Estlin, 2018/2019.

The association will maintain support for the Mayoralty, Sheriffs, Liveries and Guilds of the Corporation of the City of London and similar Liveries, Guilds and Trade Corporations outside the City of London.​
